Wild Tiger Rum has revealed its plan for the IAADFS/ASUTIL Summit of the Americas, as it looks to build its travel-retail presence across the Americas.
The Indian rum brand joined forces with Haleybrooke International in October in an attempt to crack the American duty-free market.
The first American show where the rum brand was represented was the Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) Convention in Montreal.
Following that, the brand has revealed it has had positive responses from Canadian buyers and been able to strike deals with Neutral Duty Free on the Uruguay-Brazil border and JPT Chile.
JPT Chile CEO Prakash Thadani said: “Wild Tiger Rum has been an exciting addition to our liquor range at our Iquique store. We launched during [the] festive period and the response has been promising.”
Wild Tiger has now revealed it is looking to add North American, Latin American and Caribbean sites to its American travel-retail portfolio following this month’s Orlando summit.
At the event, the brand plans to exhibit its one-litre Special Reserve Dark Rum, one-litre Indian Spiced Rum, a two x 35cl gift pack and the Rumtastic Rum Box consisting of 20 rum miniatures.
Wild Tiger will be exhibiting with Haleybrooke International from booth 207 at The Summit of the Americas, Orlando 18-21 March.
