North American travel retailer Hudson Group has announced the premium accessories and electronics brand Moshi has opened a second store at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the world’s fifth busiest airport.
The outlet is located in LAX’s terminal four, and will sell products including Moshi’s ranges of portable batteries, Bluetooth headphones, cables and adaptors.
Moshi Executive Director Dan Capelle said: “Our bags continue to be popular with shoppers looking for something modern yet lightweight, while our tech products let people stay connected and charged up on the go. The new location also lets business travellers pick up last-minute gear they might need for an upcoming meeting or conference.”
Los Angeles World Airports Director of Airline Property and Concession Services Dave Jones added: “As part of our overall LAX modernisation efforts, we are looking at how we can be on the cutting edge of retail and concessions, and bringing the second ever bricks-and-mortar Moshi store to LAX is a part of our vision for fun and fresh shopping options.”
The new store adds to Hudson Group’s recent openings at LAX, including the original Moshi outlet, Hudson LAXpress and Soundstage by Hudson, which formed part of Delta Air Lines’ US$1.9bn modernisation project in terminal three of the Californian airport.
Hudson Group President and Chief Executive Officer Joe DiDomizio said: “LAX has been a long-time partner of Hudson Group, and we are pleased to transform the look, feel and overall retail experience for our L.A. customers with the addition of our new stores as part of the LAX modernization efforts.”
