Mars International Travel Retail (MITR) is introducing a new travel-retail exclusive Skittles gift tin at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore next month.
Containing 195g of Skittles’ best-selling mixed fruit flavours, MITR said that the tin builds on the success of the “iconic” M&M’s candy tin in duty-free.
In Singapore, MITR will be discussing how best to market the new tin with retailers, primarily recommending cross-branded promotions with M&M’s.
MITR category director Raghav Rekhi said: “Most often we work in Asia Pacific with ‘Buy three, get one free’, enabling consumers to combine multiple tins of both Skittles and M&M’s in one promotion. This definitely is the best way to generate purchase, as consumers can see the value whilst recognising brands they know and love.”
MITR will be showcasing the new Skittles gift tin at the TFWA event in Singapore (6-10 May) from basement 2, K28.
