Travel retailer The Nuance Group has appointed Luis Rodolfo as global strategic marketing and business intelligence director, effective March 4. Rodolfo, who previously worked as ANA Aeroportos de Portugal retail director, will be based at the retailer’s head office in Zurich and will focus on developing an interactive information centre for market and consumer intelligence, reporting directly to global CCO and CEO Europe Andrea Belardini.
Rodolfo worked at ANA for six years, where he oversaw significant changes to seven Portuguese airports including Lisbon and Porto, as well as improving customer satisfaction levels. He has more than 17 years’ experience in retail, having worked for companies such as ADEO and Exxon Mobil across different roles.
Belardini said: “I’m delighted to welcome Luis to our newly created global team. His experience, knowledge and capabilities will significantly contribute in achieving our ambitions to further develop Nuance’s commercial strengths as well as utilise our regional capabilities to build on global expertise and consistency, whilst maintaining the local touch.
