Following the corporate rebranding unveiled last month, travel retailer The Nuance Group has announced changes to its corporate organisation structure, effective from April 1. According to the company, the new organisation “will reinforce Nuance’s positioning as a leader in travel-retail” and support its vision of leadership through partnership and retail excellence.
Nuance said in a statement that the new global functions will allow the company to work “in a more consistent and coordinated way around the globe to drive growth, develop its business and create innovative, industry leading retail experiences”. The main objectives of the restructuring are to create a strong company culture, reinforce global strength while maintaining a local touch and take customer experience to the highest level, the retailer added.
The Nuance Group president and CEO Roberto Graziani said: “The new global organisation is an important investment for us and includes two key developments: firstly, introducing a global chief commercial officer function; and secondly revising the responsibilities of some key corporate roles. The new corporate organisation will better support our global business and each of our regions in their local operations.”
Nuance Europe CEO Andrea Belardini will take on the role of CCO in addition to his current responsibilities and will develop and coordinate the group approach to deliver a consistent customer experience and support regional organisations in its implementation with the necessary local adaptations.
The company will also set up a global business development function to support Graziani in defining geographical priorities and coordinating the regions in achieving their growth objectives. This function will be incorporated in the strategy department and will be led by Nuance executive vice-president business analysis and strategy Elisa Crotti.
