US jewellery supplier Gold Silk has announced that Tom Martinez (pictured) has been promoted to director of global sales. Martinez, who will also continue in his role as regional manager for the Americas, will be responsible for worldwide sales management, new business development and sales force management.
According to the company, Martinez’s promotion is part of an initiative to “centralise the sales management function in order to accommodate a growing sales department, as well as to increase responsiveness, service and support to its expanding global clients and interested prospects”.
Gold Silk president and CEO Nasib Thabet said: “As director of global sales, Tom will be instrumental in expanding our global focus and sales effectiveness.
