The 2007 Raven Fox Charity Ball will take place on Friday 16 February 2007 at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, London, UK. This year the charity is "The Promise" a charity set up to provide better care for children with special needs in Russia. The theme this year is "The Russian Ice Ball".

THE PROMISE

The 2007 Ball will benefit The Promise a charity set up to provide better care for children with special needs in Russia. Thousands of children in the country are housed in orphanages after being classified as oligophrenic, or "small-brained". Such children are often further classified as "imbeciles" and deemed "uneducable". Many are denied one-to-one interaction and merely left to lie in cots.

After working in the Ryazan home south of Moscow in 2002, the founders of The Promise resolved to improve the care offered to the home's children through the "Portage" teaching technique. With the funds generated by the Raven Fox Ball, the charity hopes to extend the project to other homes in Russia where improvements to childcare are desperately needed.

We hope to make the 2007 Charity Ball the best yet, but we can't do it without your help.

How you can help?

• Cash Donations
• Main Auction Prize Donations – these need to be high value items (valued at £800 plus) or an experience-based package or holiday break (usually inclusive of air tickets)
• Silent Auction Prize Donations – last year we raised a great deal of additional money though a silent auction of products valued between £100 and £800. We received handbags and other fashion items, beauty products, premium liquors, gifts and jewellery. Are there products you could donate?
• Prize Donations for other Fundraising Games – these are smaller products and gifts from any category: fragrances, liquor, confectionery, accessories, jewellery and so on.

We hope you will come to the Charity Ball – tickets are £190+VAT per person or £1,900+VAT for a table of ten.
