DFNI is proud to announce the first DFNI Scandinavian Travel-Retail Conference, which is to take place in Copenhagen on November 9-11

This year, the Danish capital Copenhagen will be the setting for the first-ever DFNI event exclusively dedicated to the Nordic region. The DFNI Scandinavian Conference will take place on November 9-11 at the Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel and onboard a DFDS ferry.

Building on DFNI's successful series of regional conferences - held most recently in Kiev in November 2007 and Macau in January 2007 - the first Scandinavian Conference will address several of the issues key to the future development of the region.

Paying equal attention to the crucial ferry, airport and airline retail channels, the conference will feature dedicated sessions with leading stakeholders in each sector. Themes will include the effect of consolidation on the ferry retail market; opportunities arising from the boom in regional charter airline traffic; and the future role of arrivals duty-free within the region.

Leading airline, airport and domestic retail companies will also present their thoughts on the travel-retail channel, its future growth and how they are building their business in the market. And a special panel session will look at how retailers and brands can tap into the strong trend of internet shopping in the region.
