India Duty Free Workshop

The India Duty Free Workshop 2006 was held in Cochin, Kerala on February 21-23

The The India Duty Free Workshop, which attracted over 140 delegates, was organised by Alpha Asia with Duty-Free News International as media partner.

Among the themes addressed at the Workshop were India's incipient airport privatisation programme and resulting commercial opportunities; changes to Indian consumer profiles; the challenges posed by bureaucracy and regulation; and the future development of key categories including liquor, tobacco and confectionery.
