travelretailworld.com launches new Directory features

The Raven Fox website travelretailworld.com today launched an enhanced Directory to allow faster searching and browsing of over 9,000 travel-retailer, supplier, consultant, agent or distributor records.

New open text search boxes allow you to go direct to a chosen company or contact name rather than browsing layers of indexes. It is also possible to refine your browsing by using the country index and/or by category of supplier, distributor, consultant or operator. An additional Brand Finder facility is also under development.

The travelretailworld.com Directory is the only online source based on the Duty-Free & Travel-Retail Database & Directory, the "bible" for the tax-free and luxury goods industry. The online Directory will be continuously kept up-to-date as any changes we receive throughout the year are immediately entered and uploaded to the site. Visitors are welcome to submit additional entries and amend current entries by selecting the "Add entry" or "Amend entry" buttons. Search tips
Enter a single name or names to find any search record that contains the exact whole name or names entered. The surname of a contact and/or company name can also be searched similtaneously.

Searches are case insensitive, so for example if you enter "World", "world" or "WORLD" it will match the same result.

To refine a name search, use an asterisk (*) or wildcard to represent missing parts of the name. For example, if you enter "World*" it will match "World Duty Free", "World Duty Free Americas", etc. Similarly, "*Bollinger" will match "Champagne Bollinger" and Champagne* will match a list of Champagne houses etc. This is particularly useful when you don't know the precise form of a name. For example to locate "Aurora Jewelry" we recommend you search "Aurora*" rather than "Aurora Jewellery".
