"rhubarb" store to open at Heathrow T3
The food design company will open its first airport store at London Heathrow airport terminal three in July
Food design company “rhubarb” will open its first airport outlet at London Heathrow airport terminal three’s departures lounge in July. The company specialises in catering and hopes to offer an “unusual dining experience” for those travelling through the airport, defining its product as “fine dining in miniature”.
BAA head of category for food and beverage Catherine Peachey said: “We are delighted to welcome “rhubarb” to Heathrow airport. They will be adding to the vast array of exciting restaurants offering innovative food concepts to passengers travelling through the terminal."
“rhubarb” managing director Pieter-Bas Jacobse added: “We hope [this store] will enable us to extend our reach even further. We believe that this venture will provide something for all travellers, whatever their itinerary. A quick glass of champagne and a canapé or two before boarding, or a longer lunch meeting pre-flight—“rhubarb” will be the place to experience the luxury of travel before the journey has even begun.”
