Airport authority Unique makes space for more shops in the check-in area

Zürich International airport authority Flughafen Unique Zürich is to unveil several new additions to its landside retail offer on April 17 2008. Nine new shops will open at the check-in area on level three of the airport, complementing the airport’s existing landside retail offer, branded Airport Shopping.

Fashion retailers Esprit, Big, New Yorker, Mango, Interdiscount and Ochsner Sport are among the new brands, which Unique hopes will “fill merchandise gaps in the areas of multimedia and sport”. A Starbucks Coffee outlet will also be added, along with a new smoking lounge.

The construction site will be closed off throughout the building period to ensure that there is no disruption to the check-in area.
