Zero Group has strengthened its presence in Asia/Pacific with the appointment of Grace Tsang as regional sales manager
Zero Group has bolstered its efforts in Asia/Pacific with the appointment of new regional sales manager Grace Tsang. Tsang, who has been working in a business development role within the airline industry for five years, is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and is fluent in three languages - English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Commenting on the new appointment, group managing director Geoff Hutley said: Grace has been employed to drive sales in the Asia/Pacific region, which we believe holds enormous potential for our exclusive duty-free jewellery and electronic travel goods. On top of this, the TFWA Singapore event was a great success for us this year we saw a better footfall than on previous occasions and Grace will be responsible for nurturing the contacts developed there, as well as working with the team to deliver the goods for our new Asia/Pacific listings.
Zero Group will also, for the first time this year, be producing its travel-retail catalogues in four different languages, each tailor-made for the relevant Asia/Pacific area. It believes the potential for expansion of the duty-free exclusive Carlo and Carlucci brands is enormous.
Carlucci International sales and marketing manager Keeley Hamblin-Smith commented: The Carlucci range for the Asia/Pacific market will be adapted to suit the specific needs of each of the different countries we are working with. For example, we know that unlike their European counterparts, Japanese women dont wear earrings, so we will concentrate on other premium silver items and exclusive designs from the range including the extremely popular bangle sets and pendants.
