The airside beauty and wellness centre is the first of its kind at a European airport

US operator XpresSpa has opened its beauty and wellness centre at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, the first of its kind at a European airport. Located airside on the first floor of departure lounge two, the salon offers massages, manicures, pedicures and facial treatments for men and women. Some treatments taking as little as 10 minutes, having been tailored to the length of time passengers have to spend at the airport.

The airport said in a statement that the XpresSpa centre “represents an important new addition within Schiphol airport’s AirportCity concept”.
