World Duty Free appoints commercial director

The BAA subsidiary appoints former Superdrug and KPMG executive Jo O’Conner

BAA retail subsidiary World Duty Free has appointed Jo O’Conner as commercial director, replacing trading director David Griffiths. The former Superdrug marketing director, who also has retail consultancy experience with KPMG, will be responsible for “growing the business and introducing new and exclusive offers to the retailer”, according to Marketing Week.

O’Conner will report directly to World Duty Free managing director Mark Riches and will head a team of nearly 50 staff.
