Woodruff named Heathrow retail director

BAA has announced the appointment of Chris Woodruff as new retail director for London Heathrow airport. He succeeds Mark Riches who has become managing director of World Duty Free Europe.

Woodruff will join the Heathrow airport board and will report to Heathrow airport managing director Mick Temple and UK Airports retail director Colin Hargrave. He has responsibility for the development and performance of Heathrow retail activities.

He moves from World Duty Free (WDF), where his last task was the sale of WDF Americas. He was also involved in the sale of the WDFA Export Division and the closure of WDF's inflight business.
