Widdop promoted at Russ Berrie

Russ Berrie has expanded its duty-free team and appointed Paul Widdop as director. Plush toy supplier Russ Berrie has appointed Paul Widdop as director duty-free sales. He replaces Garry Stoner, who left the company earlier this year to join Scorpio Distributors.

Widdop, who has been with the company for six years, was promoted from his position as regional sales manager. In his new post he will have overall responsibility for global travel-retail sales. He will continue to handle the Middle East, Eastern Europe and ARI accounts.

The company’s duty-free division has also appointed a trainee area manager. Rebecca Dickinson joined the duty-free division on December 11. She previously worked for Russ Berrie as part of the product development division.
