SINGAPORE. Interest in Singapore Changi airport?s beauty business will peak again this month as tender documents are released for the airport?s terminal one fragrances and cosmetics contract, operated by Weitnauer. The hotly contested T2 beauty contract was awarded to Nuance-Watson last month.

The three-year contract will commence on April 1 and covers six outlets. Nuance-Watson now has a monopoly on fragrances and cosmetics sales at Changi.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has revealed that four operators submitted bids for the fragrances and cosmetics tender at Singapore Changi airport terminal one. DFS Singapore, Weitnauer Singapore, Nuance-Watson and a joint venture between Alpha Retail and SUTL all made bids for the three-year six-store contract.
