Weitnauer expands and extends in Nicaragua

Weitnauer affiliate Puerto Libre International (PLISA) has been awarded 400sq m (4,304sq ft) of added space for duty-free shops in the new terminal at Managua International airport.

At the same time, the company's contract at the location has been extended by a further 10 years.

PLISA president Dr Alejandro Martinez-Cuenca said: "We are pleased with the opportunity and the trust of the airport authority in allowing Weitnauer to continue to serve travellers at the airport and to build new, state of the art facilities of international standard."
