Weitnauer appoints new chief procurement officer

Weitnauer Group has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Woodland as chief procurement officer, effective from June 1

Woodland will also become a member of the group's executive committee.

Woodland has worked in the duty-free industry for the past 15 years across all categories, beginning in 1987 as fashion, accessories and jewellery buyer at Gatwick airport. She has since held positions at DFS, Allders (Nuance) and Alpha Retail, working as a consultant for the last two years. Her responsibilities at Weitnauer will include  implementing marketing policy, procurement, supply chain and logistics for suppliers, and developing Weitnauer's global merchandise and buying strategy.
