Swiss-based operator Weitnauer announced today that its assembly of shareholders has appointed Francois Bueche chairman of Weitnauer Holding. Bueche succeeds Fritz Kohli

Bueche, who has a PhD in law and experience as an international legal and tax advisor, is the ceo of ATAG Private Client Services, a company specialized in international legal and tax consulting. He previously spent more than 20 years with ATAG Allgemeine Treuhand, which became Ernst & Young, the Swiss branch of the international audit firm. Bueche was partner of Ernst & Young and head of the private client services department. ATAG Private Client Services was formed in 2001 through a spin-off from Ernst & Young.

Frédéric Gauchet was also confirmed as a member of the Board of Directors, following his appointment as ceo in February. (TRW 05/02/02)
