Weitnauer appoints Wehrli as CEO

Markus Wehrli to take position of CEO at duty-free distribution company Weitnauer

Weitnauer Distribution has appointed Markus Wehrli as CEO, with immediate effect. He replaces André Rusch, who will retire.

 

Wehrli has held a number of senior positions within Weitnauer over the past twelve years, working in business development and consolidation at the distributor’s offices in Basel, New York and Aruba.

 

The company said in a statement: “In Markus Wehrli the Board has appointed a CEO who has in-depth knowledge of the industry and will be able to play a part in ensuring that the company pursues its course of positive development. During the handover phase, he will have the active support of André Rusch.”
