Weitnauer announces Tuli successor for Singapore

As part of Weitnauer's restructure, the Swiss operator has announced that Jan Baljet will take responsibility for the company's Asia Pacific operations. He replaces Sunil Tuli, who was chief operating officer Asia Pacific and Far East. Baljet will continue his current role as general manager of Weitnauer Tuxedo in Sharjah.

The move comes as the retailer finalises the details of its wide-ranging restructure. This has already seen the departure of Tuli, while Michel Stopnicer, chief operating officer responsible for retailing in the Middle East and eastern Europe, leaves at the end of May.

The group is reorganising across its regions, but has insisted it will not relinquish any contracts. Further details will appear on TRW in the coming days.
