Former DFS Australia MD joins Valiram Group

The Valiram Group has appointed former DFS Group Australia managing director as country manager for Singapore.

At DFS Group, CC Lee was responsible for managing and developing stores in Sydney, Cairns and on the Gold Coast. He joined the company in 1980 as vice-president of operations in Singapore.

Valiram Group director Ashvin Valiram said: “We believe Lee’s strong strategic, organisational and operational skills will be invaluable in further strengthening our Singapore operations.”

He added: “In this important stage of our development in Singapore, we believe that Lee’s broad experience in the luxury retail industry will give us the additional boost in establishing and developing our position as the leading luxury goods retailer and travel-retail specialist”.

Lee will report to COO Julian Levy, who also recently joined Valiram from DFS.
