14-Aug-2003

The carrier is to seek bids for its inflight retail business for the first time

Tunisair plans to outsource its onboard duty-free programme later this year, TRW can reveal. The carrier has previously operated the business in-house, with tobacco, liquor and fragrances dominating 90% of the mix, according to The Airline Book 2002/2003.

Until now, the company has changed its onboard range just once a year. Tunisair operates international flights from Tunis Carthage, Monastir, Djerba, Tabarka, Tozeur and Gafsa. Closing date for bids will be September 30.
