A new store at Piarco International airport in
NEDCO hopes the new store will allow local Trinidadian companies the opportunity to grow their businesses in international markets. Rent at the airport store is set at $400 a month with 10% of sales going to NEDCO, a further 5% to the airport and the remainder to the producers.
The stores official openingit has been operating at the airport for almost three monthswas well timed to coincide with the first round of the cricket World Cup, with some of the matches being hosted in Trinidad and Tobago.
