Lufthansa passengers at two German airports can swap air miles for shopping

Passengers at Frankfurt and Düsseldorf International airports can buy products in Gebr Heinemann's Travel Value shops with their air miles, the retailer has confirmed.

Members of the Lufthansa's Miles and More frequent flyer scheme can purchase goods in any Travel Value shop by presenting their membership card. There is a minimum purchase of 7,500 miles, which equates to just over €22 ($29).

One euro is worth 330 miles. The scheme also includes part payment for goods, with customers making up the remainder by cash or credit card.
