Long-standing vice-president worldwide duty-free to retire after 30 years at the company
Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has announced the retirement of Worldwide Duty Free vice-president Eddie Touma after 30 years of service. A successor is yet to be appointed.
Touma, who joined the company in 1978 and was responsible for the Middle East domestic and duty-free markets, took over its worldwide duty-free business in 1999.
JTI regional president worldwide duty-free Martin Braddock said: “Eddie’s leadership has been key in transforming our worldwide duty-free business into a modern and customer-focused organisation. He leaves behind a very capable team which will ensure a continued excellent service to our customers and consumers.”
