Book your place now for what promises to be a highlight of this year's duty-free calendar
Time is running out to book your place at the 2005 ASUTIL conference, to be held at the Hilton Buenos Aires on September 7-9. About 200 delegates are expected to attend this year's event, which will mark the tenth anniversary of the Latin American trade association. As always, the event will combine a strong line-up of speakers with unrivalled networking opportunities, including a packed social programme.
The latest high-profile speaker to join this year's agenda is Carlos Plass, CEO of Santiago International airport. Plass will present plans for Santiago's commercial development and share his views on the future of South American aviation.
Companies already registered to attend ASUTIL 2005 include Aldeasa, ASUR, Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, British-American Tobacco, Brasif Duty Free Shop, Bright Star Duty Free, Diageo, Dufry Group, Duty Free Americas, Duty Free Ecuador, Elizabeth Arden, Salvatore Ferragamo, IOSC, InterBaires, Lima Airport Partners, London Supply, Masterfoods, Maxxium Travel Retail and Zeinal Hermanos.
The social programme promises to be memorable in this landmark year for ASUTIL. Bacardi and Diageo will host the Open Bar, providing an informal setting for afternoon networking sessions. London Supply will welcome delegates to a glittering Gala Dinner and the luncheons, sponsored by Zeinal Hermanos and InterBaires, will be held in two of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires.
After the conference ASUTIL will treat delegates to a day in the 17th century Uruguayan town of Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
