Tiger burns bright for Dubai Duty Free

7-Feb-2006

The world's number-one golfer chipped in to help Dubai Duty Free with its latest prize draw

Tiger Woods was the latest big name drafted in to help Dubai Duty Free (DDF) with its prize raffle programme. Fresh from his victory in the Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament, Woods drew the ticket that gave DDF customer and classical dancer Tripti Bhupen a BMW 750Li Sapphire Black car in the DDF Desert Classic Surprise promotion.

DDF managing director Colm McLoughlin and deputy George Horan are understood to have given Woods the benefit of their years of golfing experience, helping him back to winning ways at the Emirates Club. Rumours that DDF will be fielding a new name at this year's Ramadan tournament are as yet unconfirmed.
