The Asian beer supplier begins a European travel-retail roll-out this year

Asian beer supplier Tiger plans to increase its UK duty-free presence before expanding further into Europe. The company secured its first UK airline listing last year.

Tiger duty-free national account executive Graham Archibald told RavenFox.com: “Tiger is popular on board Asian airlines and we noticed it was having problems with supply when reloading return flights in the UK. We decided to help out with a base here.

“Then we thought that if UK passengers are buying Tiger beer on these flights that there must be potential for listings with other UK airlines. We secured our first UK airline contract last year and we are now seeking to expand in UK duty-free before rolling out further into Europe.”
