The Nuance Group, via subsidiary Regency Duty Free, and King Power Group (Hong Kong) have been shortlisted by Wellington International airport along with a third bidder for the airport's duty-free tender, RavenFox.com understands. The third contender has yet to be confirmed but sources have suggested that Wellington incumbent Duty Free Stores New Zealand remains in the running for the contract.
The winning bidder will have to operate alongside Duty Free Stores New Zealand for two years before taking over the full operation.
