Thomas Cook takes to the air

2-Apr-2003

As part of a pan-European re-branding exercise by the Thomas Cook travel group, JMC Airlines has been renamed Thomas Cook Airlines effective March 31

The airline, based in Manchester, serves 51 charter destinations worldwide.

JMC Airlines was created through the merger of UK carriers Caledonian Airways and Flying Colours in 1999.

Thomas Cook will also adopt a new corporate identity in blue and yellow colours, replacing the familiar red logo across the group's high street stores, call centres and website.
