Thierry Rouquette takes Raven Fox/ASUTIL Lifetime Achievement Award

Former P&G Prestige Products general manager travel-retail scooped the top accolade in Lima

Thierry Rouquette, one of the travel-retail industry’s longest-serving fragrance and cosmetics executives, was presented with the ASUTIL – Raven Fox Lifetime Achievement Award at the South American Duty Free Association’s annual conference in Lima last Friday.

In a break from tradition, the ASUTIL board decided to make the award during the conference instead of at the closing lunch, to ensure that more delegates were in attendance for the presentation.

This year’s award winner was former general manager travel-retail Americas at P&G Prestige Products Thierry Rouquette. He took retirement earlier in 2007, following the Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale.

ASUTIL president Walter Zeinal made the presentation and Rouquette thanked the people who he had worked with for more than 25 years.

Rouquette commented: “I want to dedicate this to the people I have worked with over the past years who made me look good and made things easier for me.”
