Thierry Mugler to preview at TFWA Asia Pacific show
Thierry Mugler has chosen the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in May to present its new collection of leathergoods and accessories to the Asian market for the first time.
The Thierry Mugler brand is already familiar to luxury goods
customers via its boutiques in Europe and the US. The brand is also
set to make its mark in the Middle East when it will go on display
at Dubai Duty Free in March.
Sydney van Volen of Evan Holdings, which markets and distributes
the Thierry Mugler lines worldwide, commented: "We are very keen to
get premium exposure for the new collection and the Thierry Mugler
image in Asia. For us the objective of the show is to reach the key
markets of Japan, China, Korea, Australia and the Pacific
islands."
He continued, "It takes a year or two for us to set up a new market. By then the market as a whole will be ready. We will be targeting all our contacts in the Asian domestic markets and also some major airports who we hope to sign up during the show."
Thierry Mugler will be showing its monogrammed and small leathergoods, the Galet collection of leather handbags, Cocoon sporty leather and high-tech material bags and the futuristic Bubble range in moulded synthetic rubber in vibrant colours.
