The beneficiary of the Raven Fox Charity Ball earlier this year reports on how it has used the $100,000 raised
ThePromise, the charity helping profoundly disabled abandoned children in Russia, has voiced its thanks for all those who helped raise almost $100,000 at the Raven Fox Charity Ball earlier this year. The money will fund ThePromises work at the Yelatma orphanage, home to many abandoned, disabled children 30 of whom are bed-bound and none of whom attend school.
The money raised will go towards training and employing 10 full-time Portage practitioners, who will be able to continue using the proven physical therapy technique to improve the lives of the Yelatma children.
ThePromises Janet Abbott said: A huge thank you to all the organisers, sponsors and guests for achieving this wonderful result. Without your help we could not have continued with our work at Yelatma. Thank you so much for your support.
