Thai Airways welcomes open bids for duty-free contract

Thai Airways International has called for open bids for its duty-free inflight concession contract

Thai Airways International’s board of directors has approved an open bid model to attract a new concessionaire to operate its inflight duty-free contract. The company stated it is “searching for a company that will provide the most benefits for Thai [Airways]” under a three-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year. The current contract expires in November.

Thai Airways flies to over 35 international destinations and operates 90 aircraft.
