TFWA announced today that the Association and its members were delighted with this year's Tax Free Asia Pacific visitor and exhibitor numbers, and the response to the events. "The four post conference workshops were well attended and requests have been made to revisit timing schedules of these to allow delegates to attend more than one workshop," said the Association.

Initiatives such as the cyber café and the Singapore Swing party were also well received. By the close of the show visitor attendance had reached 3,429 of which 36.5 % were key buyers. These figures show an 8.2% rise in the number of key buyers attending the event compared to last year.

Visitor numbers were up from most regions and particularly the Americas (up 37%).  Additionally visitors from Asia showed a 4% growth, Africa was up 13%, Europe 3% and non-Europe 33%.  In terms of total numbers other top visiting nations included Malaysia with 10.2% of total, Korea 7.6%, Hong Kong at 6.9% and Japan at 5.1%.
