TFWA to showcase new faces

16-Jul-2004

A host of new exhibitors sign up for this year's World Exhibition in Cannes.

More than 34 newcomers are confirmed to exhibit at the Tax Free World Association's World Exhibition in Cannes, France this year from October 18-22. These include Levi's, Nike Timing watches, Porche Design fashion, Cecile et Jeanne jewellery, Francesco Smalto fashion and accessories, Rimowa accessories, Jurlique cosmetics and Kousmichoff teas.

Over 90% of the companies that exhibited last year have rebooked for this year's event totalling 440 to date, with some yet to confirm. In 2003, there were 471 companies on show for the 5,000 visitors. Several exhibitors will return after being absent last year including Calvin Klein, Dorset fine foods, Lancel fashion and Pernod Ricard, which will have a yacht in the Harbour Village.

This year's programme will include a bonus hour of trading on the first day, as the exhibition will open at 11am on October 18 rather than midday as in previous years. The World Exhibition's 20th anniversary will be celebrated during the week. Registration can be completed on-line at www.tfwa.com.
