Tax Free World Association says it is "business as usual" for exhibitors at this year's TFWA World Exhibition despite the turmoil affecting global travel markets. "The number of new product launches planned is as we would expect and we see no evidence of cancellations or postponements in this area, " said TFWA chief executive Andrew Ford. A nuymber of buyers have pulled out, notably US airlines and other groups such as KLM Tax Free Services.

But Ford said appointment books were filling up fast. "Buyers who have not yet finalised their meetings are advised to do so as soon as possible in order to ensure they are able to organise their schedules and maximise the use of their time at the exhibition. We are confident that there will be plenty going on at TFWA World Exhibition this year," concluded Ford.
