The association has announced new additions to the speaker line-up and social events programme
The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced that over 1,000 trade visitors from nearly 300 companies—the majority of which are duty-free retail operators, airlines, ferries and airport authorities—have already pre-registered for the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition and Gate ONE2ONE conference, which will take place on May 12-15 at the Singapore Suntec Centre.
Speakers at the conference include Beijing Capital Airport & Commercial Trading Company managing director Kunlan Zhang, King Power Group (Hong Kong) managing director duty-free and travel-retail Sunil Tuli, Venture Republic CEO Martin Roll, TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen and Civil Aviation Authority Singapore commercial director Lim Peck Hoon.
The social event schedule for this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific includes new additions, such as a cocktail soirée on May 12, a pool party on May 13 a new location for the Singapore Swing Party, which will take place at the Shangri-La hotel on May 14. The traditional golf tournament and welcome cocktail on Sunday May 11 are also part of the programme.
Juul-Mortensen said: "TFWA Asia Pacific and Gate ONE2ONE in the new format clearly appeal to the industry in the region. Over the past decade the exhibition has become established as the unique opportunity to meet brands, review product developments and discuss business with Asia Pacific contacts. The conference programme this year promises to lay the foundations for an excellent week with stimulating debate and essential information. We are confident that the list of key stakeholders signing up to the event will continue to grow and we look forward to a landmark event."
Pre-registration closes on April 16, and registration on site will be available immediately prior to and during the event. Full programme and registration details can be found at www.tfwa.com.
