TFWA offers key location tour for new Asia Pacific exhibitors

The Association is planning to give new exhibitors the opportunity to visit some of the region's most important locations and retailers

TFWA is offering new exhibitors to its Asia Pacific event the opportunity to view some of the region's key travel-retail locations, featuring briefings from DFS Group, Nuance-Watson (HK), King Power International and Sky Connection. The tour, which includes visits to Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong, will allow suppliers to meet key buyers in an informal setting before the show starts on May 18 at Singapore's Suntec Centre.

The tour will run from May 10-13, allowing participants time to join other exhibitors for show preparations from May 14-17. TFWA has already attracted 154 exhibitors to the show, and expects to welcome around 2,500 visitors over the four-day event.

The ?Pre-show Asia Travel Retail Location Tour' will cost ?795 ($1,006), including three nights' hotel accommodation from May 10-12, transfers, lunch on May 11, dinners, travel-retail location visits and presentations. Flights, breakfast and miscellaneous charges are not included.

The Association has negotiated special fares with Singapore Airlines. A brand manager travelling from France would fly from Paris to Singapore, Bangkok, Hong-Kong, Singapore and back to Paris for ?1,001 ($1,267) plus taxes in economy class or  ?3,570 ($4,747) in business class.

The deadline for registration for the tour is March 15. A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to go ahead and places are on a first-come, first-served basis.
