TFWA eastern Europe conference brought forward

21-Jul-2004

A new June date for next year's event will avoid any clash with ASUTIL in September.

Tax Free World Association has brought forward the date of its new two-day eastern Europe conference to June next year, instead of September, as it felt the planned date was too close to Latin American duty-free association ASUTIL's conference on September 8-10. TFWA said it wanted to avoid any potential strain on its resources at a busy time of year.

The event, to be staged in Moscow with the Russian Duty Free Trade Association, will now be held on June 27-28 2005. TFWA said the conference has two main aims - to help companies and individuals who want to build new businesses in eastern Europe and to assist local operators who want to expand beyond the region.
