International tennis star Guy Forget will take on travel retailers at this year's TFWA World Exhibition sports day

Captain of the French Davis Cup team Guy Forget will make a guest appearance during the TFWA World Exhibition sports day on Sunday October 30. 

Forget will be stepping up to the net with participants in the tennis tournament, sponsored by Champagne Lanson and Lacoste, at the Club Sportif de Montfleury. After the tournament, participants will be invited to a champagne reception and prize-giving,  followed by a late lunch.
      
This year's sports day in Cannes will also feature the 19th Davidoff/Gebr Heinemann golf tournament, which tees off at the Mandelieu Golf Club at 08.00 and ends at the 19th hole with an awards presentation. Those Cannes delegates looking for a gentle ramble can join professional guides on the island of Sainte Marguerite. More energetic associates have the choice of a five- or ten-kilometre jogging tour on the island. Both walkers and joggers will both be rewarded with breakfast in a local restaurant before the return journey to Cannes. The boat for the event, sponsored by Timex, departs for the island from Cannes' Old Harbour at 08.15 sharp.
      
A Provencale flavour will be provided by the petanque tournament, which starts at 09.30 at the Place de l'Etang in the centre of Cannes. It is followed by a buffet lunch.
