TFWA appoints Asia business development manager
The move is designed to strengthen the association's efforts in the region following its recent decision to open a Singapore office
Tax Free World Association has appointed Susan Tan as business development manager for Asia, a new role designed to bolster the association's efforts in the region. Tan, who took up the role earlier this month, is responsible for developing TFWA's business in Asia/Pacific, including TFWA Asia Pacific and GATE ONE.
The appointment follows TFWA's recent decision to open a Singapore office, where Tan will be based. She will work closely with the Paris office and will report to TFWA commercial director Alain Maingreaud.
TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen said: ?We are very pleased to welcome Susan who will play a key role in our development plans for the Asia region. She not only has considerable experience of our business but has the local knowledge which will prove crucial to our future development.?
The new TFWA office will be at 26 Cairnhill Road, Singapore 229655 and will be open on weekdays between 9am and 6pm from 1 June.
Visitors to TFWA Asia Pacific or GATE ONE can request an appointment with Tan by contacting the TFWA team in the exhibition hall or by emailing her on
