The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced the first keynote speaker for the opening conference of the TFWA World Exhibition 2008, which will take place in Cannes on October 27-31. The UB Group chairman Vijay Mallya will present his perspective on the “Challenge the Future” conference theme, focusing on innovation, brand development and how the rapid development of the Indian economy will affect travel-retail.

The UB Group has interests in aviation, brewing, distilling, engineering, fertilizers, biotechnology, information technology and real estate, and includes Kingfisher Airlines, United Breweries Ltd and United Spirits Ltd.
