TFWA Asia Pacific conference programme revealed

The conference day is themed “Collaboration and the Consumer: strategies for success in Asia Pacific”

The Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has announced the programme for the TFWA Asia Pacific and Gate One2One conference on May 12. Themed “Collaboration and the Consumer: strategies for success in Asia Pacific”, the conference will be split into sessions from which participants will be able to choose the workshops that suit their particular interests. The association expects 500 delegates to attend the event.

TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen will open the plenary session with an overview of the travel-retail industry in the Asia/Pacific region, followed by a keynote address entitled “Successful branding in Asia” by Venture Republic CEO Martin Roll. Delegates will then be able to choose from a selection of eight specialist workshops divided between three sessions. These include presentations and debates on consumer behaviour at airports, airport architecture and planning, cross-culture branding in Asia and tourism and travel trends in the region. The conference will be followed by the TFWA Asia Pacific duty-free and travel-retail exhibition on May 13-15 at the Suntec Singapore. Online pre-registration opens on March 4 and continues to April 16.
