Bookings are flooding in for the Global Travel Retail Summit, the only travel-retail conference to focus entirely on the consumer
Bookings are flooding in from around the world for the Global Travel Retail Summit, to be held in Amsterdam on April 18-20. The event, organised by Raven Fox and RFH Consumer Insight in association with Business Traveller magazine, is the only travel-retail conference to focus entirely on the consumer.
The latest speakers to confirm their participation include Manfred Funke of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol's Consumer Products Division and Vancouver International Airport Authority manager retail sales & service programs Christopher Gilliland.
There will also be contributions from leading French travel retailer Aelia business development director Ambroise Fondeur and from fellow Hachette group company Virgin executive vice-president business operations retail Jean-Luc Chassigneux. Also featuring will be a special session on retailing to the fast-changing cruise passenger, with extracts from a special study undertaken by Pragma Consulting for P&O Cruises.
Fast-growing brand Red Bull has lent its support to the event, and will sponsor coffee and refreshments.
