Scorpio Distributors founder and managing director Stuart McGuire is to join the board of onboard retail technology specialist GuestLogix as non-executive director with immediate effect.

GuestLogix board chairman, president and CEO Tom Douramakos said: “The appointment of Stuart McGuire is an important strategic step for our company. Stuart’s travel-retail expertise and insight is of great value, and he will be able to give us invaluable advice as we expand our global footprint in line with our Fiscal 2011 growth strategy. Part of that strategy is to expand our connected marketplace to include new travel sectors and more operators.”
