Four more companies add their support to the DFNI Scandinavian Conference in Copenhagen in November, underlining the event’s importance as a regional forum for debate
DFNI is delighted to reveal further strong support for the DFNI Scandinavian Conference, to be held in Copenhagen’s Radisson SAS Scandinavia hotel on November 9-11.
Danish jewellery Dyrberg Kern, Finnish confectionery company Leaf. Ian McLeod Distillers’ Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and United Drinks’ Fishshot Vodka Shot are the latest companies to commit to sponsoring the event, which will focus on a region that is constantly challenging but offers access to some of the most high-spending travel-retail passengers in the world.
Dyrberg Kern, Leaf, Glengoyne and Fishshot Vodka Shot join the event’s three founder sponsors, Danish distributor Valora Trade Travel Retail, DFDS Seaways and spirits company Arcus.
Ferry market consolidation, a booming charter and low-cost airline sector and the role of arrivals duty-free in an age of increasing security and environmental concerns will be among the issues discussed at the event.
The conference will host retailers, airports, airlines, ferry companies and suppliers from across Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, with an agenda including panel discussions, debates and keynote presentations from some of the most dynamic companies in the regional industry—and some high-profile speakers from outside the industry.
The conference will shed light on the short-to-medium-term opportunities for travel retailers and suppliers, and will examine how the region’s landlords—particularly airports, airlines and ferries—are planning to optimise their commercial offer over the next few years.
